You want regular care
Regular care should give the pool a consistent baseline. That means more than removing leaves. The service arrangement should be clear about water checks, cleaning, baskets, filter care, equipment observations, chemicals, reporting, frequency, access and what happens when something sits outside the agreed scope.
The right pattern is not automatically weekly, fortnightly or monthly. It depends on the pool, vegetation, season, equipment, swimmer load and how much the household manages between visits.
